Thank you for requesting a Accurance conversion of your title into all of the e-book formats. We are excited that you are considering our service for your e-books!

If you are interested in doing our Evaluation E-book, but you have some questions first, please email here your thoughts and questions and we’ll talk or write. You can call direct as well, at 812 323 1334. Don’t be shy, half our current clients wanted to talk before doing the Evaluation e-book.

1. Register for the Evaluation E-Book Title service (click here to register)

2. You fill out our e-book order form (DOWNLOAD HERE). It is many pages long, but most are resource pages for your education about e-books and our e-book particulars. The actual form section to fill out is only a few pages.

   In production mode, it is only necessary to fill out a few-field metadata form taking one minute. In this Evaluation title, we – one time only – ask you to fill out this longer form, as we need different categories of information at the outset, that we’ll never have to ask about again.

3. Send via email to E-bookEval@accurance.com, the
   1. Print-ready PDF of your interior (all pages) manuscript
   2. Print-ready PDF of your book cover (front/back/spine)
   3. Your filled out Accurance E-book order form

4. A one-time $100 nominal fee for the Evaluation e-Book. To purchase, click here.

1. We will check your PDFs to make sure they are properly formatted (e-book creation assumes that the input file is an already professionally formatted file. We can fix this if not, but it is a separate service).

2. We will write you via email with any questions we have, after inspecting the PDFs and your E-Book Order form.

3. We will create, first, one E-book format. We’ll send it to you, along with instructions on how to download a free viewer so you can see what your e-book will look like on most devices (it is called an ePub format). We’ll ask you to review very carefully to look for any errors of any kind, including text, formatting, and the ‘menu’ that will appear on the left side of the e-book showing the auto-links for front and back matter, and chapter beginnings.

4. Once you review and send us your feedback and any corrections you may request via email (these are only corrections to our work – there is no ‘rewriting of the book’. That, too, is available, but a separate service), we will make those corrections.

5. We will then produce all the other formats and send you all your e-book versions to your title.

With our e-book clients, we have a regular workflow in Production, and they are all plugged into that, with pre-agreed-upon turnaround times, work queues, etc.

With the Evaluation test books, we use a different team – our development team – so that we can identify the titles specs that are specific to you, and work on scripts, procedures, and the like that we need. Of course, we are hoping that once you see our high quality service, you’ll be asking to become an e-book client of ours, so we are evaluating and working on a process on your behalf with this in mind. The turnaround time is usually 8 to 13 business days for a Evaluation e-book, for you to see that first ePub version. The creation of the other e-book versions, after your approval and corrections, takes generally another 4 or 5 business days. The process might be faster than that, but for Evaluation tests, we are quite careful about looking for unspoken or unidentified issues (you are new to us, after all), so it takes longer.
