• Structured - identification of hundreds of 'zones' on a page, based on the position of two dimensions on the page, as relating to a particular field. Health Care claims for example.
• Semi-Structured - identification of hundreds of fields on a page, based on a combination of a position on a page, as part of a condition that can include particular character-strings in or surrounding each target field. EOBs (Explanation of Benefits) forms for example.
• Non-structured - identification of hundreds of fields on a page, based solely on the character or graphic environments surrounding each field.

Forms Recognition and Forms Sorting: Accurance has developed high-level forms recognition and sorting capabilities for document typing. Accurance developed and implemented a solution for a 10 million image project. The project required the identification of 800 different form types, from multiple 'clues' that included form-titles to database-calls for Medical Institutions, to letterhead, to 3-page IF/THEN scripts.
